Earlier this week I was browsing the many Marsala accessories that have emerged as Pantone announced the deep blush shade is 2015’s Colour of the Year. As always spring’s paint box is bursting with juicy colour offerings and imaginatively crafted patterns.
Warm tones heated up the runways at Milan and Paris Fashion Week, Stella Jean unveiled a collection of skirts adorned with tropical, Aztec and art deco patterns, popping with all the colours set to be big news this year. Ravishing red dresses aplenty also ruled many a catwalk.
Block colour returned to River Island in the form of some delightful tote bags and purses that will brighten up any grey day.
This year’s palette of go-to tones is so mouth watering even the colour-shy will want to indulge in a popping accessory or never seen before print. The good news is you don’t have to wear brights from head to toe to pep up a lacklustre outfit, a bright pair of heels like the ones shown or one of River Island’s new bags will ensure your 2015 will snap, crackle and pop!
