Unsung Beauty Hero: MAC Fluidline

MAC Fluidline is an innovation in cosnetics. It’s an eyeliner; however it is not your stereotypical eye pencil.  It is a revolutionary gel eyeliner product housed in a sleek glass jar.  The benefits outweigh the potential for making a mess… at least Fluidline doesn’t require the use of the sharpner we always seem to lose!

Fluidline is one of those liners you can apply in the morning and it stays all day.  Only water or make up remover at the end of the day will make it budge.  This is something you don’t need to re-apply at school or work.

This is a pricey product, it’s £15.50, and yes, the likes of Maybelline, Rimmel, Sleek Make Up and ELF Cosmetics (www.eyeslipsface.co.uk) have generated purse friendlier dupes
However, the pricier products can be the best beauty investments you’ll make, if you know how to keep them in tip top condition.
The only secrets to liner longevity is that firstly, Fluidline doesn’t like the open air; tipping the jar upside down every time you come to use it will stop the fluid drying out and extend its life by as much as 3 years!

Secondly, put the cap back on the jar straight away after every use.  If you leave the cap off, even once or twice, it will last no longer than a month.
Fluidline is like an acquired taste; you need to spend a considerable amount of time with it and get to know it before you master the perfect line.
If you’re scouring the net for the perfect liner brush, Fluidline’s perfect partners are MAC 210 and MAC 266.
If you want to achieve a thin, everyday line that’s fuss-free, the skinny 210 is your best friend.  The angled 266 will transform your daytime line into that dramatic, smokin’ Winehouse flick!

As you can see by the pictures, Fluidline isn’t just available in Blacktrack (black), MAC have a rainbow of gel liner colours to suit every eye colour and complexion and it’s possible to achieve a wealth of make-up looks with MAC’s wide selection of professional standard brushes! The possibilities are endless! http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk have the full list of colours and many other products.
