Mothering Sunday will be in full swing this time next week. If you’re yet to source the perfect gift for your mom, step-mom or grandma, what better way to show your appreciation than a special edition bottle of one of the world’s best floral fragrances…

From 3 to 9 March at Selfridges you can get a rather special bottle of Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf. What makes it special is that you can have the bottle hand painted in store at no extra cost. A bottle of Flowerbomb is a beautiful, thoughtful stand alone gift that lasts longer than any bouquet, and extra meaningful and thoughtful if this eclectic secret garden like perfume is one of your loved ones’ favourites. A unique personal touch like this limited edition hand painted bottle just makes Mother’s Day that extra special. If you’re after one of these one of a kind bottles, I suggest phoning your nearest Selfridges ahead to avoid disappointment, as the hand painting service may only be at certain times in the day. You can see a list of stores, contact details, etc on their website: http://www.selfridges.com

I’m not usually one for floral perfumes that are too “girly,” but with it’s notes of bergamot, tea, jasmine, freesia and orchid, this has to be one of my favourite floral fragrances as its a grown-up, opulent take on floral, that’s still got that breezy, feminine wink to it. For me it evokes memories of when Charlie was a pup because that’s around the time I was first wearing this scent.   The phenomenally stunning grenade shaped bottle does it for me every time too!
