Rainbow, unicorn inspired everything is here to stay. It’s safe to say every cosmetics brand has dropped their own mythical version of the colourful craze. Lottie London are the latest company to come up with their own dreamy rainbow highlighter called Mermaid Glow, available at Superdrug stores.

TAM Beauty, the company behind Make Up Revolution, Freedom and I Heart Make Up have come up with their Unicorns Heart, which they have gifted to I Heart Make Up. Unicorns Heart is the dreamiest, pastel shimmery rainbow highlighter that is boxed in the shape of a heart.

Essence Cosmetics are another brand to embrace all things technicolor and glowing, they have bought out not one but two variations of the make-up must have that sent the Internet crazy. Prismatic Rainbow boasts four vivid shades of red, orange, yellow and blue. Blossom Dreams is a calmer take on the rainbow with its spectrum of 5 pastel shades.

Bitter Lace Beauty, the Etsy store that stepped up the glow game with the handmade rainbow highlighters that swiftly sold out, is believed to have sown the seeds of the rainbow revolution. Any make-up maestro and beauty addict knows highlighting is the gateway to that perfectly on-point glow.

Beauty junkies have bid up to a thousand dollars on eBay for the original Prism highlighter from Bitter Lace Beauty, which has a waiting list of up to ten months for people wanting to get their spectrum glow from their Etsy store.

If you can’t wait for your unicorn shimmer fix, rest assured, there are some fantastic dupes starting to emerge on the wider market, thanks to the likes of Lottie London, TAM Beauty, Essence and even Forever 21!
